South Africa Internships

Each summer MBA student interns spend eight weeks in several South African Black townships helping small business owners develop plans. This unique summer internship program was developed in 1998 by Valerie Gregory, MBA student and president of the College's International Business Club, in conjunction with Rev. Oliver Williams, C.S.C., who specializes in business ethics. The program is jointly sponsored by the Gigot Center for Entrepreneurial Studies, and the Center for Ethics and Religious Values in Business. Father Williams teaches in Cape Town in June each year and serves as faculty advisor to the ND program.
